Virtual girlfriends

This time-lapse documentary explores the hitherto unknown world of OnlyFans, an online subscription platform for adult content. Through four stories, the film reveals the motivations of the OnlyFans stars, while also giving the perspective of their loyal fans. The social network is currently gaining popularity worldwide and already has over 190 million paying users. "Our goal is to show the behind the scenes of this newly emerging industry. We would like to explore what such a prepaid virtual relationship entails and how society has changed its view of intimacy and privacy," says Barbora Chalupová, the writer and director of the upcoming film.
